Differential Diagnosis
Essential note: Neoplastic (tumour) growths are an absolute contraindications to TENS and other treatments around the shoulder girdle, These cases highlight the importance of radiology and the need for reconsideration of the diagnosis in "frozen shoulder" (Quan et al. 2005).
